Morning! Yep! They’re back! I don’t know what happened, but that Gary Jeff guy was supposed to be on all week. He was a disaster. Maybe Quinn & Rose decided to cut it short and finish the vacations when they could get a better guest host. Who knows! I’m just glad they’re back!
Hmmm...state is distributing potassium iodine tablets today for people within ten miles of a nuke plant.
I think they do it every year but it is really publicized this year.

I thought I’d read, last week, about an accident at a nuclear power plant - can’t remember where. Down south? But they weren’t making a big deal about it.

So happy to have power—never lost it last night—but WHAT a lightening storm. We were @daughter’s house in N.Hills (as crow flies >4 miles) from PNC Park—the game was never delayed—but the skies were white white w/lighttening &heavy rains. We left around 9:40 and saw cloud to ground strikes on TPike (hubby was driving—I was nervous). In transit one of the boys texted and said how bad it was @home, and fire sirens going off. SEVERAL houses got hit &a couple of fires—no injuries reported. But the volunteers out here were crazy busy.
I saw the Roddy quote (it’s him saying he was directing a vehicle w/an Obama sticker into a handicapped parking space) and I thought “what is WRONG with you to say that?!?”
W got the thunder and lightening, but the rain passed us by. Yunz guys down in Westmoreland County always seem to get it worse than us here in Indiana County.
I didn’t hear the quote. But retarded? no. Stupid? yes.
I think there was a minor accident...not nuclear...at either Three Mile Island or Limerick near Harrisburg.
Yeah Roddey should have known better for lots of reasons not to mention the damage he did to GOP chances in November!

LOL, Mrs p6 and I had been babysitting all 5 grandkids. By 8:30 I was exhuasted and collapsed. Slept through all the storms!
Yes! Ladysmith got a response from both. I believe Rose said “Thanks, we’re glad to be back!” And I think Quinn sent “Thx”! lol!
I’m excited about the upcoming elections. I think we’re going to see more Tea Party candidates winning. I get the daily updates from Dick Morris. Still don’t quite trust him, but his updates are encouraging.

The worst thing s I think he did it at the victory celebration for the guy who took Orie’s seat. It’s almost like Roddy was sabotaging him.

Oops...one more thing to mention before I fly... An odd uptick in seismic activity (a cluster of EQs in the Los Angeles area—biggest a 4.5 and a larger 4.9 off the Oregon coast). My geologist buds are following closely—a couple of the LA quakes were along a formerly quiet fault (Elsinore). Hope all the little ones release pressure and NO biggie.
