Report: Calif. must flag minority male youth needs

California must prioritize policies to address the plight of boys and young men of color who represent a fast-growing segment of the state's population, but a disproportionate share of prison inmates, school dropouts and the unemployed, an Assembly committee report released Wednesday said.

The draft report by the Select Subcommittee on the Status of Boys and Men of Color outlines 65 policy and legislative recommendations dealing in education, health, juvenile justice and employment to improve the prospects for young minority men.

"Doing nothing is not an option," said Sandre Swanson, the Oakland Democrat who heads the subcommittee. "Young men of color in trouble cost the state of California billions of dollars. There's a moral question to be addressed here, too."

A 47 page report that states that the government must do this, the government is responsible for that, more taxpayer money must be spent but nothing on the responsibilities of parents. If the little darlings can't behave in school kick the out.

The only way to understand this is for the religion that it is. Worship of “people of color” has replaced Christianity for our ruling elite. It is a religion that demands blood sacrifice and the zealot whites who practice it are all too happy to see the blood of non-believers.

Liberals see a problem and think to themselves, “We have to get the government to do something.” The reality is that those “young men of color” are responsible for their own behavior and the consequences of that behavior.

Which is why liberalism maintains itself over the generations. They really think that they are doing something good, while missing the whole point that it’s not their responsibility. Sad.

Good schools need good teachers, but the best teachers in the world won't help if the parents aren't interested in their kid's safety and education.

The Great Society has failed, the War on Poverty has failed, and the War on Drugs has failed. The products of those three failures can be found at these schools. We are now looking at third and upcoming fourth generation gang bangers, non-working welfare recipients, and fatherless children. Grandmothers that went to church used to raise and save some. Now those grandmothers are becoming more scarce, replaced by permanent welfare recipients and drug addicts.
