This is answering the question of whether or not Obama was at Columbia, not whether or not he represented himself as a foreign exchange student. It’s entirely plausible that he misrepresented his status in order to obtain more funding and admittance. In fact it’s entirely possible he really believed that to be the case given his convoluted history of multiple non-American, non-Christian fathers, and childhood spent in Indonesia. It may have been a convenient oversight.
Understood but the thread article insinuates obama didn't attend Columbia.
Furthermore, Occidental, Columbia and Harvard are all private schools. I'm not sure why an official transcript would be expected to indicate if the student was an American citizen or foreign citizen.
