All yall’s points have validity.
my contentions was if anyone wanted to run for office and was elected or was a manager level government employee, they should not be able to hide any normally public record.

I also think anyone getting government welfare or other government funds aside from work, they should forego their right to vote while on the dole. That way at least they would have a tougher time voting themselves access to the Treasury.

Of course that means **every** parent with a child in a government K-12 school. Government schooling is the biggest welfare program in the nation.
