What I know is that name changes, and their laws, are governed by the state. Also, these name changes are public records.
Hopefully, FRiends wiser than me would know how to research the states and their records to find such change.

There used to be a copy of Obumo’ application for a license to practice law in Illinois on this site.
He denied having any alias’s or other names on that app.
He lied there too.
Interesting about the name change speculations...I was recently in court changing my name...there was an Hispanic guy there before me who changed his name from “Miguel Y” to Nicholas Putin or some other Russian name...the judge wanted to know what the name meant and the guy said “I don’t know sir, I don’t speak Russian”!!!!!!!!!
