Romney isn’t stupid. If he wins, he’ll want the base’s support in getting things done, and in getting reelected.

I don’t think we’d have much to worry about on the Second Amendment until a second Romney term. This includes the Sup Court; if Romney were to get an opening in his first term, I don’t think he could afford to pick anyone other than a known, solid conservative. Whether such a nominee could get confirmed if the GOP doesn’t take back the Senate is a related, but separate question.

I guess it's too bad the Republican Voters didn't take that into consideration during the Primaries. I guess the impact of FR Posters didn't sway the masses to Vote for a true Conservative. The biggest RINO won the prize.
