Am I correct that the Sikhs have been experiencing attacks in many countries recently? Why do they have such fierce enemies?
I can’t help wondering if the gunman mistook Sihk turbans for muzzie raghead headpieces.
Four people were killed and 10 wounded in several shootings overnight in Chicago, falling in line with a violent summer.
Three 16-year-old boys were in a garage in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Thursday afternoon when two people walked up and opened fire, according to the Chicago Tribune. Two of the injured attempted to run away but did not make it far before collapsing, police said. The third boy survived.
Hours later a garage in the South Austin neighborhood was the scene of another shooting. Two 52-year-old men were struck, one of them fatally, according to police. The wounded man shouted for someone to call police and waited on a nearby porch until help arrived, police said.
Another man, the fourth of the afternoon, was shot several times and pronounced dead at Roseland Community Hospital. The 31-year-old was discovered in the 11200 block of South Langley Avenue in the Pullman neighborhood.
Six more shootings left eight others wounded.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel recognized the high crime presence earlier this month when he proposed a gun control ordinance. Police Supt. Garry McCarthy this week said he is encouraged by the falling crime rates. The 49 homicides in July were six less than the previous year, McCarthy.
Hey NBC, how many of Holder’s people shot and killed Obama’s sons, (if he had had any) in Chicago this week end?
Horrible. We have some Sikh neighbors here in Chicago. Great people and a fine family. I’d trust them with the lives of my children.
in my experience the Sikh are good people, hard working and honest. Damn shame some freaking wacko did this.
Mass violence is commonplace at Sikh temples.
Nothing unusual here.
Everybody knows before anybody knows. Curious.

India today said its embassy in Washington has been in touch with the US National Security Council on the tragic incident of firing inside a Gurudwara in Wisconsin that left at least seven people dead.
Indian Ambassador to the US Nirupama Rao said that an official has been deputed to rush to the site to ascertain the situation on-the-spot.
Upto seven people were killed and several others injured when at least three gunmen opened fire at the Gurudwara in Wisconsin in a coordinated attack during morning prayers.
US President Barack Obama was also briefed by his counter-terrorism advisor John Brennan on the situation and the White House is seized of the matter, US officials said.
“We have seen reports on the tragic incident earlier today of firing at a group of worshipers in a Gurudwara in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek, Wisconsin,” Rao said in a statement.
“The Embassy is seized of the situation and has been in touch with the National Security Council in Washington,” she said.
Rao said the Indian Consulate General in Chicago too has been in close touch with the local authorities to monitor the situation.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today described as “deeply painful and shocking” the attack by gunmen on devotees at a Gurudwara in the US and urged the authorities there to ensure that the sanctity of religious shrines is maintained.
Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal is monitoring the situation in New Delhi and will take up the issue with the Union Government, an official spokesperson said here tonight.
The incident of firing in Gurdwara in Oak Creek is “deeply painful, shocking and highly condemnable”. The Chief Minister has urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to intervene in the matter immediately and ask the US authorities to ensure security of devotees and the sanctity of the religious shrines all across America, the spokesman said.
The big anti religion/gay rights gang is active these days! This is not Islamic terrorism but the feds are never gonna tell us the truth.

A Question of Appearances: Obama Will Bypass Sikh Temple on Visit to India
The Golden Temple in Amritsar, India, is a popular stop for famous visitors. Sikh scriptures require that men tie a piece of cloth on their heads to enter.

New Delhi The Golden Temple, a sprawling and serene complex of gleaming gold and polished marble that is the spiritual center of the Sikh religion, is one of Indias most popular tourist attractions. Revered by Indians of all faiths, it is a cherished emblem of Indias religious diversity. So it was no surprise when the gold-plated marvel was promoted as the likely third stop on President Obamas visit to India, scheduled for early November.
But the United States has ruled out a Golden Temple visit, according to an American official involved in planning. Temple officials said that American advance teams had gone to Amritsar, the holy city that is the site of the temple, to discuss a possible visit. But the plan appears to have foundered on the thorny question of how Mr. Obama would cover his head, as Sikh tradition requires, while visiting the temple.
To come to golden temple he needs to cover his head, said Dalmegh Singh, secretary of the committee that runs the temple. That is our tradition.
Mr. Obama, a Christian, has struggled to fend off persistent rumors that he is a Muslim, and Sikhs in the United States have often been mistaken for Muslims. Sikhism, which arose in the Punjab region in the 15th century, includes elements of Hinduism and Islam but forms a wholly distinct faith. Since Sept. 11, 2001, Sikhs in the United States have been occasional targets of anti-Muslim discrimination and violence a Sikh was killed in Arizona a few days after the attack on the World Trade Center by a man who mistook him for a Muslim.

[Temple] Shooting Gunman White Male With 9-11 Tatoo CNN
By Zennie Abraham
Published on August 5, 2012
Im watching CNN where a man just interviewed, and whos
name is Manwari Kalika (spelling check needed) said that
the gunman who opened fire and shot 20 people, killing
seven (including a police officer), and causing three
people to be in critical condition was a white male, just
over six-feet tall, and with a 9-11 tatoo.
That tatoo tells is a lot about what this nutcases
motive may have been: he thought he was shooting in a
Muslim temple, and was in an Indian Sikh temple. First,
whoever the gunman is, hes a racist, murderous mentally-
ill idiot. Second, hes just plain dumb, on top of being
(third) a sick bastard.
Also, the bodies have not been removed from the temple as
of this writing. The gunman went right into the prayer
room, and then opened fire. The President of the temple
tried to tackle the gunman, and got shot in the back.
Stay tuned

Perhaps NumbNutz confused Sikhs with Muslims.
Just because Sikh’s wear turbans does not mean they are Muslims. Sikhs are good people, but Islam’s adherents are just dangerous.
