This ongoing cult-worship of Obama is really quite concerning. It's irrational, and it's not good for the country. I wouldn't be happy with someone of Obama's politics in the White House, but this fawning and emotional investment in the person is scary.

Their only higher power is a politician, so they worship him.

but this fawning and emotional investment in the person is scary. That's the point for them, to get people invested emotionally and otherwise. It is a religious tactic. Their targeted people obviously run on emotions, rather than logic and reason, or this wouldn't work. The tuning Obama into a religious figure is what makes one think that Obama might actually be the anti Christ, or maybe just a trial run.
