The French taking a leadership role? Jamais! As if it’s a given that what was done in Libya was the right thing for Libyans or the Middle East or the US or rest of the world.
The West should not compound one mistake with another.
Muslims shelling their own cities? Muslims killing Muslims in the name of religion? Muslims threatening the use of chemical weapons on each other? Just a vision of what Israel will face if the US fails to aggressively support them.
Not if the Soviets gave the Syrians the S-300 missile defense system. Then it would be difficult with losses. There are conflicting reports out there.
