He was reading aloud, and likely from Leviticus, so it raises the question of how much is it appropriate to protest protesters? This gets into some odd legal territory.

Usually, unless somebody tries to break up a protest, they can counter protest.

But if the man was homeless, how would he even know there was a protest suppose to be happening on that day?

Is it possible that he sits there every day and just reads his bible not bothering anyone? idk
