Wife of Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. calls his depression debilitating, says he collapsed

Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is suffering from debilitating depression and even collapsed at his home in Washington two months ago, his wife said in an interview published Saturday that revealed new details about his secretive leave of absence.

Sandi Jackson, who is a Chicago City Council member, told the Chicago Sun-Times that contrary to rumors, her husband did not try to kill himself and was not being treated for alcohol or drug addiction.

"No, no, none of that is true," she said.

The Chicago Democrat and son of civil rights leader the Rev. Jesse Jackson has been off the job for nearly eight weeks. Throughout that time, his office has released little information, and only revealed his whereabouts a week ago, when Jackson was transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

They traded Daley a step-down in lieu of an indictment. JJ Jr. is black and thus doesn’t have the clout in the Democratic Party to avoid an indictment.

Cook County corruption is making JJ Jr. sick. That and imagining his wonderful self in prison.

...and caught cheating on his wife, Chicago Alderman Sandi Jackson.

She’s got to figure out her options. She owes her current position and status to the Jackson clan. She’s another “great woman” in the vein of Hilary Clinton. She’ll stand by her man once she tallies up the cost/benefit ratio.

You’ve got to love the Democrats. They know how to keep them in the “kitchen”.

Very funny and just as possible as my theory. The only flaw with him seeing the error of his ways after listening to Rush is that it requires him to have a conscience. He should have been shopping for that rather than Owebama’s senate seat.
