The critical, egregious mistake you make is calling "whatever" a "family."

Right. Sit across from a gay and tell him “his family” - which family? The one he created using an egg donor and a surrogate womb, from a woman who had to sell herself for his big gay bucks? And the child who will have to be told this by his two Daddies? Maybe such a family is NOT a good idea after all???

The larger issue is that if the Progressive Fascists get away, you will be too afraid of having such a conversation lest it result in public condemnation, retaliation against your business and the like.

This really isn’t about gay marriage. That’s just the spark/catalyst. It’s really about the Left suppressing opinions they don’t happen to agree with.
