Same-sex couples 'kiss-in' at Chick-fil-A (In MA, Only about a dozen gathered to kiss and tell)

BURLINGTON, Mass. -

"Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" on Wednesday, with supporters flooding the chain's franchises around the country, was countered with "kiss-ins" by same-sex couples at assorted locations Friday,

At the Burlington Mall, heavy security was ready. But only about a dozen protesters gathered to kiss and tell.

They said Chick-fil-A customers they may want to take a closer look at where they're spending their money.

"Over the past 10 years, Chick-fil-A has donated almost $5 million to organizations that work actively against gay people's rights -- some of them certified hate groups -- and that's the real reason we're out here today." said Cambridge resident James Croft.

All over America, same sex couples held kiss-ins on Friday-- most were peaceful-- with the exception of a Chick-fil-A in Los Angeles which bore graffiti reading "tastes like hate."

It was just days ago that hundreds of Chick-fil-A customers lined up nationwide to show their suppport for the franchise after Chick-fil-A's CEO came under fire for speaking out against same-sex marriage.

Protesters in Burlington said they it's not words that worry them.

"We have freedom of speech in this country. He can say what he wants, but you're donating to hate groups-- millions of dollars-- that's a problem," said Ian Struthers of Join The Impact Massachusetts.

Chick Fil A responded with a statement saying "The WinShape Foundation and Chick-fil-A's corporate giving is focused on supporting youth, family and educational programs."

Gay rights activist Cathy Kristofferson told Newscenter 5, "It's not a first amendment issue. It's actually a 14th amendment issue, which is the equal protection clause. We just want our equal rights."

I’d like to know which organization that CFA donates to is a “certified hate group” except in the minds of the loons.

” Chick-fil-A has donated almost $5 million to organizations that work actively against gay people’s rights — some of them certified hate groups”...

So, spending money to inform people that being homosexual is a “sin”, that being homosexual carries deadly risks, that homosexuals die early - that is somehow a bad thing?

How odd, and queer, and quite peculiar.

Good question autumn--- define who these 'hate groups' are? Answer--they can't or wont because CFA gives to noble causes. The term 'hate groups' is one of those new pro regressive group think lingo --- newspeak Orwellian terms that they spout off the cuff like trained parrots.

I wonder who "certifies" an organization as a "hate group"?

Because in my opinion, the Democrat Party is a "hate group"!

What is a “certified hate group”? Is there some place you have to register your hate group to get certified?

If you want to see hate, watch this Youtube video -

“It was just days ago that hundreds of Chick-fil-A customers lined up nationwide to show their suppport for the franchise after Chick-fil-A’s CEO came under fire for speaking out against same-sex marriage” — “hundreds” — I think this reporter needs a math lesson.

How about hundreds of thousands.

But only about a dozen protesters gathered to kiss and tell.

Some statistics show that less than 2% of the population is homosexual. If that is the case, the majority of them came out to participate in the Chick-fil-a Kiss-in.

Where do you get this hate group certifications?

Issued by Boston mayor Tom Menino

Is there a test?

Yes, you qualify for a certificate if you disagree with him.

Chick-Fil-A's owner has a right to spend his money however he sees fit. The homosexual groups have no right to deprive him of the use of his money. It is also completely inappropriate to use verbal slurs like "Hater" to bully people, to attempt to prevent them from doing business as they chose.

Winshape is a private foundation that is owned by the Cathys. Winshape supports everything from children homes, to scholarships, to marriage retreats. They donate to like-minded resources for those endeavors: Focus on the Family, Family Research Council, etc.

There are, in actuality, no more pro-individual homosexual groups than FoF and FRC...they are the ones willing to tell homosexuals the truth, that their lifestyle is killing them. Those who hate them — groups like the Dem Party — tell them to keep doing what is injuring them. Those who care for them tell them that they are wrong, that their lifestyle is deadly.

Who cares more for the alcoholic or addict: the one who encourages him to stop or the one who says “keep on doing what you’re doing”?

It isn’t “hate” to try and educate people about the consequences. of the homosexual lifestyle. In fact, its an act of love to tell people the truth.

As usual, everything in this country today is topsy turvy. Good is called evil, and evil - good.

I think gays somehow feel what they are doing is wrong, and therefore, seek approval for it from others. They can’t tolerate the fact that the majority of Americans do NOT accept this lifestyle are normal.
