Tea Party Express Endorses Clark Durant for U.S. SenateFrankenmuth, MI Fresh off a historic upset victory in Texas, Tea Party Express, the nations largest tea party political action committee, proudly announced their endorsement of Clark Durant today in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
Tea Party Express Chairman Amy Kremer said, We are excited to be here in Michigan today to announce our endorsement of Clark Durant for the U.S. Senate. We are at a crossroads in our nations history, and in order to continue marching boldly forward, we must elect a proven conservative committed to honoring the Constitution, restoring individual liberty and responsibility, and defending the free market. Durant is our strongest hope to defeating Debbie Stabenow, Kremer concluded.
Tea Party Express Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, We are proud to support Clark Durant because he represents the best of what the tea party movement stands for. Not only is he committed to reducing the size, cost and intrusiveness of the federal government, but he also supports the pro-growth policies that will restore American prosperity.
His work in the inner city of Detroit shows his determination to give all Americans the chance to climb the ladder of opportunity and fulfill their American Dream. We cannot get our national debt under control with austerity alone. We have to be committed to growing the economy with lower taxes and a less burdensome regulatory environment.
I have known Clark since our work together twenty-six years ago in promoting Jack Kemp for President. The Kemp economy philosophy is at the core of the Tea Party Express, and Clark Durant reflects those views as well as any candidate in America, Russo concluded.
There are three acceptable candidates and one substandard candidate....and the substandard guy is going to win.
Negative Neumann
Neumann ? No.
As promised, here ya go No G-Z!
Who is Palin’s horse in this race?
I’m sorry but Jack French Kemp was one of the original backtrackers of the conservative cause. Remember how he gushed over Al Gore in their “debate love fest” in 1996? People were so furious about that that they kicked their footstool while watching.
Wait and see - Scott Walker will endorse Jeff Fitzgerald this week, and he will surge from the back of the pack to win this thing.
I have talked to a lot of LOCAL Tea Party activists on the ground here in Wisconsin, who are pretty ticked off at national “Tea Party” groups purporting to speak for us - and making an endorsement that is absolutely contrary to the wishes of most Wisconsin Tea Party activists.
