So how was he identified?

I believe he identified himself in his you tube account, and gave his job title and employer.

He originally posted the video on his YouTube page, so I guess he was identified from that. I would like to know how long it took him to decide to take it down. However long it was, it was too slow.

Maybe he needs to claim that he owns the copyright on the video and spend all his abundant free time making DMCA complaints against anywhere hosting the copies of it.
