A new book by Richard Miniter contends that it was Valerie Jarrett, Obama's top adviser, who repeatedly urged President Obama not to take out Osama bin Laden, prompting Obama to cancel the mission three times.

Kudos to Miniter for this revelation. A year ago, I had written a feature article for American Spectator on Valerie Jarrett. One piece of information I had, but couldn't confirm, was precisely this. Good work by Richard Miniter.

........As readers of this site are aware, I've just published a book on Barack Obama's mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. No president in the long history of this republic has had a mentor like Obama's. Frank Marshall Davis was a literal -- and I mean literal -- card-carrying member of Communist Party USA. I publish Davis's Communist Party number (47544) on the cover of the book, and fill an appendix with declassified FBI documents and Soviet archival material. Those documents reveal a Davis so suspicious that he was placed on the federal government's Security Index, which meant he could be immediately arrested if war broke out between the United States and USSR. With that sort of pro-Soviet influence throughout his adolescence (1970-79), Barack Obama would have trouble getting a security clearance for an entry-level government job, let alone sit in the Oval Office.

Nonetheless, Obama sits in that Oval Office today thanks to four factors: the American voter, a scandalously biased media, a skillful election strategy charted by David Axelrod, and the careful nurturing of Valerie Jarrett.

And most remarkable, Axelrod's and Jarrett's backgrounds and mentors connect to Obama's background and mentor in a most intriguing way. It's a stunning story, hard to believe. Follow closely:

Coming as this does on the heels of the inquiries made by Representative Michele Bachmann concerning Hillary Clinton's assistant chief of staff and her connections to the Muslim Brotherhood, it is appropriate to ask whether that connection will now be raised in this context.

Because people like John McCain have thrown Michele Bachmann and her fellow conservative representatives under the bus it is difficult for prominent conservatives to come to her defense which means that it difficult for those interested in the truth to raise issues and survive politically. It takes someone with the backbone-or the absence of any hope of future political office-like Newt Gingrich to stick his head above the parapet and risk being called McCarthyite.

It will be interesting to see if Michelle Bachmann herself has the courage to make the connection, if any, between Valerie Jarrett with her communist connections tempered by her residence in her youth in Iran, and Huma Mahmood Abedin the assistant Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Clinton's "body woman." If Bachmann does speak out, will she be again thrown under the bus? Will she be left to twist in the wind?

Few could blame Mrs. Bachmann if she keeps her head below the parapet because it is well known that she is # one on the list of Republicans to be knocked out of the House of Representatives and the charges of McCarthyism will fly thick and fast in Minnesota and there'll be no lack of money poured into the race by the national Democrat party.

Just as it was politically incorrect in 2008 to inquire into Obama's pedigree so it is probably unavailing is 2012 to inquire into the pedigree of his Associates. Who will come to the aid of the party?

These are real and substantial questions of national security.

It's not the first time John McCain has thrown "someone" under the bus. Some people have even suggested that he threw his own election under the bus. He is either enormously incompetent or owned and operated by a political mafia of some kind.

I'm reading “The Communist” by Paul Kengor now. I cant remember ever reading a book that was as upsetting as what I've read in this book.

I highly recommend people read it. Especially those who say there is no difference between Romney and Obama.

Romney may be too liberal but he is not a Communist.

We throw the terms socialist and communist around too easily and doing so diminishes their true meaning.

Please think about history for a moment. Think about Stallinist Russia and all of the millions of people wiped out by him. This was Frank Marshall Davis’ hero and Frank Marshall Davis was Obama’s ideological father, if not his biological father.

I am ashamed that the electorate and MSM in this country have permitted themselves to be duped like this. The point being… if you claim you were NOT duped, they you are in accord with the ‘Davis political’ position and subsequently the politics of “O”.

There is not a single level headed and honest American in this country who for one instant mistook “O” for anything but what he is.

Yet the ‘electors’ and the MSM think “O” is some kind of sophisticated thinker and enlightened leader...SO sophisticated and SO enlightened that the rest of us stupid yokels just don’t GET IT!

I’ve got news for the electorate and the MSM! Get yourself a map and a history book and get busy. Check out all the OTHER demagogues who tricked and betrayed jerks like yourselves with just this same smarmy drivel.

Does Kengor mention Thomas Ayers in his book? After a bit of research, I'm rather convinced that Frank hooked Barry up in Chicago with his commie friends, then Bill's father, Thomas, a very rich guy, got an eyeful of the boy wonder...Since Tom Ayers was looking for a black puppet to groom for Mayor of Chi...Barry fit the bill. I am guessing Ayer’s paid for and greased the wheels for Barry's rather remarkable jump from crappy student at crappy Oxy to 3rd year Columbia student...later Harvard LR Preezee.

I'm so glad Kengo wrote this book. I've felt for years that Frank is the key to unlocking the fraud in the WH.

the terms communist and socialist are NOT thrown around too easily, those words are rarely mentioned and if so, reluctantly. Try calling the “progressive” caucus the “communist caucus” and hear them scream. Try using the word communist and they come back with “mccarthy”. The words communist and socialist need to be used often to wake people up. Even the dunce bill o’really refused to believe there was anything left to communists in USA.

I'm about half way through the book and he hasn't mentioned Ayers yet. I do expect him to because, like you, I think they families are all tied together.

I'm normally a fast reader but this one is taking some time. I read a chapter and then am overwhelmed by revulsion with where our country is headed.

The book shows that Obama was the plan all along. They may or may not have chosen him specifically but he is the culmination of the work they have been doing for decades.

You also make my point. Because of the ease of use of the terms you missed the fact that Obama and his friends ARE Marxists. Real ones who have inherited their beliefs from their families and mentors and have a plan to take over our country.

"the American voter" is the key factor here. We will always have rotten politicians like Jarret, Axelrod, Obama, and a corrupt media. It is the American voter that puts them all in positions where they are able to bring down our country.

Yeah, just think, just as Dingy Harry has accused Romney of not filing taxes in 10 years and has suggested the onus to "prove himself inocent" is on Mitt, this could be used very effectively if only there was a prominent R who had the stones to do so.

He or someone else could usurp the Left's playbook and come out with what they are always advancing: "it's not the nature of the evidence that is relevant. It's the seriousness of the charge."

Here we have the making of one of the biggest scandals in American History and could spell defeat for Obama if only we could get the MSM to report on it, which we know ain't never going to happen.
