When you get fired for cause, the state can deny you unemployment compensation. I’d be very surprised if he actually receives it once his employer points out why he was fired.

I think it may be different here in Pennsylvania...even our school bus drivers who only work during the school year, sign up for unemployment over the summer!!! they take that job knowing it is nine months work a year...
they do make good money as well, as most of them take extra side field trips...but most have NO benefits!!!! I don't know any that have more than HS education..
strange world we live in...
