Exactly. When “our side” (and I use that term loosely) uses sarcasm and ridicule, it’s in the form of light banter and “we don’t really mean this”. When the evil side uses sarcasm and ridicule, it’s with sharp javelins tipped with poison, and they use the sarcasm/ridicule as pointed weapons. “Our side” uses kiddie baseball bats made of foam, and the Dems/leftists use iron clubs with pointy things and poison tips. Mixed metaphors but you know what I mean. “Our side” (and I use that term loosely) are not MISSION ORIENTED enough (or at all). It’s money, power, popularity with the Dems/media, parties, insider connections, riding the gravy train, fear of being an “outsider” or even fear of (shudder!) ridicule, or loss of income, etc.
They play hardball with lead in the baseballs, “our side” is playing pattycake with infants. Or reacharounds with the Dems.
