Looks like you didn't read the article with the poorly misleading headline either. The 17 year old lifeguard complained of a headache and ALSO went to the hospital where he was billed $2,583 for his care. Who knows how much the family of the 12 year old who almost drowned was billed.

Me thinks this article is a sympathy play for the hospital to forgo the bill. I guess we will see.

I did read another article (off FR) that didn’t mention any treatment for the lifeguard so didn’t bother to read all of the one linked on FR.
