The cultists are the most entertaining. I think the more aggressive ones dont really believe anything but they need the cult as that link to each other as a bullying gang. Much like the Hitler Youth (except just text naturally not real) in that they like a feeling of power that comes with a personality based cult that units them. The personality is the saviour and victim in one and threats and insults replace arguments.

One thing that always annoyed me is that many people need an earthy Savior to look up to. There aren’t any.
