Here is the leftists agenda hidden behind the Libertarian Party curtain.

Anytime someone claims to be able to declare someone else's position, it is much more credible if an authoritative source - recognized by that other party - is provided. So the rest of your statement is suspect, at least.

However, I didn't claim that the libertarian philosophy I described in my note is aligned with the current "Libertarian Party." I find that party position to be too far toward anarchy - even for the tradition of that philosophy. However, I think that Jefferson's declaration of, "That government is best which governs least," is a good starting point. It can, like any other position, be taken to extremes and lose it's value.

As another caution, declaring that "Libertarians are radical leftists . . ." smacks entirely too much of the immediate namecalling and 'extremist' label that the current liberals/progressives/statists/socialists/liars do. I wouldn't leap to that namecalling if for no other reason than to keep my distance from that type of repugnant behavior.

Nonetheless, I don't support the Libertarian Party. As I said, I'm a Constitutionalist. And I don't think the current right/left, liberal/conservative labels mean anything. The anti-socialist nature of libertarianism, for example, is hardly 'leftist' by today's typical (and misused) labels.

The bottom line is whether I would try to find common cause with fiscal 'conservatives' if the alternative was continued power for the Democrat party. Answer: In a heartbeat.

That summary is a perfectly accurate description of the radical leftist positions of the Libertarian party platform on those issues, here is their wording on immigration for instance.

This is the actual, 2004 text of the Libertarian Party Platform on immigration.

COMPLETE PLATFORM TEXT
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS AND CIVIL ORDER

IMMIGRATION:
The Issue: We welcome all refugees to our country and condemn the efforts of U.S. officials to create a new “Berlin Wall” which would keep them captive. We condemn the U.S. government’s policy of barring those refugees from our country and preventing Americans from assisting their passage to help them escape tyranny or improve their economic prospects.

The Principle: We hold that human rights should not be denied or abridged on the basis of nationality. Undocumented non-citizens should not be denied the fundamental freedom to labor and to move about unmolested. Furthermore, immigration must not be restricted for reasons of race, religion, political creed, age or sexual preference. We oppose government welfare and resettlement payments to non-citizens just as we oppose government welfare payments to all other persons.

Solutions: We condemn massive roundups of Hispanic Americans and others by the federal government in its hunt for individuals not possessing required government documents. We strongly oppose all measures that punish employers who hire undocumented workers. Such measures repress free enterprise, harass workers, and systematically discourage employers from hiring Hispanics.

Transitional Action: We call for the elimination of all restrictions on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for all people who have entered the country illegally.
