Williams will be ok on many issues, more conservative than many in Congress, but he is a connected GOP insider of the ilk of Dewhurst. He’ll be one of Boehner’s boys - don’t rock the boat, kick the hard decisions down the road, look for your chance to cash in.
We lost a true champion for the cause of Constitutionally limited government in Riddle. I hope he runs again.

Is Riddle an actual constitutional conservative, or is he a Paulite? Inthink there’s a HUGE difference. Ted Cruz is the prototype of a constitutional conservative, and you can bet he won’t vote with Democrats almost half the time like Ron Paul does.

Like I said, time and action will tell. If he's a Boehner Boy, Riddle will probably be able to beat him in two years. "We" haven't become dispirited or worn down as the wishful thinkers say. We're still here.
We absolutely must resurrect and reinforce our Constitution.
