Just because you play a DA on television doesn't make you proficient in the interpretation of law......as evidenced in this article. Actually, it's quite the opposite. Senator Thompson's interpretation is that one that has prevailed in every courtroom challenge so far. It is this birther nonsense that nobody is buying.

The courts haven’t addressed the issue of defining NBC except for Minor v. Happersett - which doesn’t agree with Sen. Thompson. KWA wasn’t defining NBC.
