Fred....You are wrong and your arguments is synthetic sleight of hand.
Seen it before.
BTW, Fred...Did you vote for Senate Resolution 511?
Where you affirmed in that vote that John Sydney McCain was qualified because he was born of two American Citizens on a US Military Base?
“Senate Resolution 511”
You ARE aware that SR511 had NOTHING to do with those born in the USA...aren’t you?
There you will find forms for US Passports. In those passport applications you can find references to citizenship requirements of those born outside the United States.
It is commonly accepted that those born on US Flagged vessels, or US Military bases, or US Territories, are NATURAL BORN CITIZENS if they meet any of the parentage requirements -— requirements which have changed over the years.
Since some ignorantly and falsely hold that birth in a US Territory or on a US Military base, by itself, would not qualify for automatic citizenship -— It was necessary to stop that argument by bringing up the fact that McCain qualified due to the valid citizenship claims of both of his parents, at the time of John McCains birth.
Glad to see your post!
Claire McCaskill was behind this Resolution 511 and Orin Hatch supported it from what I’ve heard.
Some refer to it as “the Arnold Ammendment” for Schwarzenegar (sp?), but, truly as a means to get McCain the nomination and Jindal or Rubio “approved”, ‘cause they’re considered up-and-comers, not to mention the fact it covered for Bath-House Barry, too.
Another interesting tidbit is the fact that there was NO RECORDED vote on 511, but, it “passed”.
