It is the serious nature of the charge, not the evidence of any wrong-doing, that is the important thing here.

Of course, even if Harry Reid also produced his income tax returns for the past ten years, or twelve, or thirty, nothing would change.

He would STILL be a jack-Mormon, one who observes all the obsequiousities and rituals, but without charity and grace, consequently he feels no warming of the heart and soul as a result. One cannot be a good Mormon and a liberal Democrat simultaneously. Mutual exclusives.

Hey, Harry brought up this context of trying to fit Mitt Romney into a “felon” meme. Could come back and bite him in the gluteus maximus.

The traditional tale is that a Mormon will be (politically) whatever the Prophet wants him to be.

So the plan is that with this election the Mormons will turn up with the Presidency, the majority leader of the Senate (Orin Hatch), and maybe some guy in the House.

If the Republicans don't take the Senate the Mormons will still have Harry Reid.

Thought it was strange when we had a whole big bunch of Mittbots demanding Dick Lugar be dumped, and at the same time they said nothing whatsoever about equally senile and leftwingtard voting Orin Hatch.

Or, no, I didn't find that strange at all. Lugar is the only Republican with more seniority than Hatch.
