...Progressive politicians from coast to coast were lining up last week to keep Chick-Fil-As...restaurants out of their towns after the companys president... made statements that [he supports traditional marriage]. . .
Chicago alderman Joe Moreno, called Cathy bigoted and homophobic and added: Because of this mans ignorance, I will now be denying Chick-Fil-As permit to open a restaurant in the 1st Ward. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said that goes for the entire city: Chick-Fil-A values are not Chicago values..........
You know who the big loser will be in that scenario?
Progressives and their companies. Because, like it or not, theyre the ones who dont share majority values.
Across America, the right to gay marriage has appeared on the ballot 32 times over the past few years, and it has lost every single time. Only six states and the District of Columbia issue licenses for same-sex marriages...
If pandering progressive politicians are allowed to put Chick-Fil-A out of business, you can bet that the folks on the other side will be doing the same to Amazon.com, whose founders just donated $2.5 million to support a gay-marriage initiative in Washington State.
Say so long to Oreos (Nabisco, earlier this summer, put them in a bag featuring a cookie with a multicolored gay-pride stuffing) as well as Cheerios, Pillsbury pastries and Green Giant vegetables (owner General Mills is opposing a Minnesota constituional amendment that would outlaw gay marriage). JC Penney, which has put pictures of gay dads in its catalogs and uses Ellen Degeneres as its spokeswoman, will be history. And well all be living in Murfreesboro.

On another note, the whole idea that the government can simply deny a business license to any company based on the opinions of the CEO or owner is simply fascist.
Where do we go from here? Does anyone who wishes to start a business in a city need to now fill out a form provided by the government stating the owner's opinions on specific issues? If those opinions do not fall into line with those of the government elites, the business license is denied? Very slippery slope here.
Well they did what most libs do... They deleted my post and my account. Oh well. No loss.
