I'm indifferent between Obama and Romney. They are both uber liberals. There is no difference.
If you want the federal marriage amendment to end the homosexual nonsense, then you need to have a candidate with coattails that will bring in the senate and house in super majorities.
Based on Romney's actions as governor (see post 24) I see Romney vetoing a federal marriage amendment.
I don't see Romney as having any coat tails at all. And once he actualy starts revealing his true self, he is going to be a liability to the GOP.
History indicates that whichever party wins the Whitehouse, tends to lose seats in the following congressional elections. So if Obama wins in 2012, the GOP will advance in the House and Senate in 2014. If Romney wins in 2012, the Democrats will advance in 2014.
What's more, if Romney wins in 2012, he'll be the GOP nominee in 2016. It'll be 2020 before we can get even a moderate much less a conservative in the Whitehouse.
If Obama wins, you already have a house that is standing up to him a little. It would help if the GOP gains the senate, then and only then will the house be able to do much. The Supreme Court has stood up to Obama a little, they blocked the medicaid portion of Obamacare.
If Romney wins, you'll have establishment republicans rubber stamping any kind of liberal agenda in the name of GOP unity.
HE DID in MA!! Isn't that why he feels qualified to run - because he was governor. His record there is LIBERAL to the core!
