Of these Organizations that attempt to “cure” Homosexuality, do they kidnap innocent happy Gays off the street and force treatment on them?

My guess is the Gays in question seek treatment because they want to improve their lives, just like Alcoholics that attend AA Meetings.

I asked my daughter why she wanted to keep people from seeking out treatment if they wanted it. I pointed out that many people think alchoholism has a genetic component, and that people like to drink, and people should be allowed to drink if they want, but some people DECIDE they don’t want to drink, and look for help.

I asked why a person who felt attracted to men, but didn’t want to be that way, shouldn’t have the right to get help overcoming that attraction, or at least controlling it.

I then said it seemed gay people were happy to force “confused” kids to be taught all about being gay, “just in case”, but wanted to force people who thought they might be gay to remain that way, whether they wanted to be or not.

I also pointed out to her that Chick-Fil-A supports organizations which do many good things for people, ONE of which is to SUPPORT traditional marriage. Note that they aren’t really trying to “ban” same-sex marriage; same-sex marriage is currently illegal in almost every place, and they are trying to maintain the status quo.
