Pretty much all the country south of PA is lovely. My dad was from upstate NY, and we made the drive from Louisiana to NY pretty much every year from infancy until I was about twelve, and not quite so frequently after his mom died. We took a different route almost every time, so I've seen most of TN, KY, VA, northern MS, AL, some of the Carolinas, and on up into Ohio and across. All that hill/mountain country is pretty.
Indeed!
And He sent His Son to SAVE yer scrawny butt!!!
Heck; if He could get me; you'd best Watch Out!! ;^]
And mom would say, "I keep telling you to ask for directions; but NOOOooo...!"
Apostate Mormons? Virtually impossible. Been there, done that organized religion thing.
ORGANIZED?
You’ve not seen one of MY churches meetings!! ;^)
ORGANI$$$$$$$$$$$$ZED?
Arranged marriages are for the birds!
TN is beautiful country. I never met such lovely, friendly people. I thought I had a southern accent until I came across them, LOL.
Well, maybe in some families, but my dad was a superb navigator. I don't think I have ever seen him get lost....certainly not during any of the times I was riding along. I think this was in part due to the fact that during the Depression, he and his brother had a motorcycle, and traveled WIDELY looking for work. I know they did the run from upstate NY to Florida several times.
Especially when they stopped showing the weather.
I, too, have never been lost.
But I have taken many sightseeing trips spontaneously on occasion.
