Open primaries, where Democrat can cross-over and influence Republican nominations, have got to stop. Can’t Texas Republicans put an end to them?

In Texas, anyone can vote in either primary. However, when you vote in a primary, they stamp your voter registration card with either Republican or Democrat. In run-offs, you have to vote in the same one you voted the first time. You get a new card every year, so you can change in the new year, but once you are stamped, that’s it for the year. I used to vote in the Dem primary because whoever won that was elected in the fall. Thank goodness that no longer applies.
