Oh, I agree. Here is something more from that peaceful Clinton administration. Here's more.

In all fairness, Clinton did show restraint against one enemy.

As for the economy, many of those jobs were created by the tech boom and Y2K. The jobs created for setting up all of those servers and modifying the old COBOL code for year 2000 would have been created regardless of who was in the White House. Bill Gates had more to do with the tech boom than Bill Clinton, but Clinton happened to be in the White House when it happened, and the compliant MSM worked hard to ensure he got the credit.

Welfare Reform also helped, but before signing it into law, he vetoed it twice after the GOP Congress passed it, before finally caving in an election year and signing it into law.

Balanced budget? Clinton didn't have to budget for the Cold War, and punted the expensive WOT to the next administrations. This and the tax revenue created by the tech boom had more to do with it than anything Clinton did.

You don't have to sell this to me. We need to sell this to the undecideds and Independents if we're going to counter the memory of "Clinton's economy".

You make very good points, all true. Clinton could have fallen in dog crap (which he did a lot!) and come up smelling like a rose. Lucky for him, huh? As much as I detest him though, he is nowhere near Obama’s level of corruption and deceipt. This marxist has to go!
