Somehow I missed that Valerie Jarrett was born and raised in Iran. If that doesn’t make one’s blood run cold, I don’t know what will.

Yeah, but her parents were American. Her great-grandfather, Robert Robinson Taylor, was said to be the first black (African-American) accredited architect in the U.S. and first African-American at MIT. Valerie has quite a pedigree.

Did some research on Valerie the other day and was wondering if her grandfather was related to Michelle Robinson Obama’s family. Might just be a coincidence albeit and intriguing one. The two Robinson families came from different Carolinas.
