Every candidate other than Romney would have been a far better action candidate but the GOP wanted a soft non threatening globalist who won’t rock the boat.

Romney is a rabid pit bull up against a conservative. But when his opponent is a fellow liberal he is all wussy and such. Making the ex_Premier of the CommieWealth of mAssholio a phony big time.

He's done it before.

http://dailycaller.com/2011/09/04/dick-cheney-praises-hillary-clinton/

Former Vice President Dick Cheney had some kind words for one of his former rivals — Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

[...]

“I have a sense that she is one of the more competent members of the current administration and it would be interesting to speculate about how she might perform were she to be president,” he said.

So Sarah doesn't have enough experience, but "it would be interesting to speculate" how Hillary might do as President.

A typical inside-the-beltway GOP-e opinion.

She is the leader of the right wing of the GOP though, she is second only to the actual nominee in power and she represents the Reagan/Palin wing in the eternal war with the Romney/Rockefeller wing.

Perry blocked her by announcing just before she announced, but she is still second in command of the GOP.

How many of you served in RVN? There were student deferments for those who made passing grades in college. Those who did not got drafted. Had I done better the first time or had I not wanted to serve I would not have had to. I had a lot of friends who never served in 65-70.

I’m really starting to wonder.

You know, it’s not as if she’s gone out of her way to antagonize Dick Cheney, or Barbara Bush, or Karl Rove, or the others. They chose this fight. And they keep choosing it. And even if I agreed with the veep, and I can assure you I do not, I’d still have to ask the questions: Why at all? And in particular, why now? As noted, she’s not running, but she is on the campaign trail. She is campaigning to help Republicans win. She is campaigning to help build the party. She is campaigning to help beat Barack Obama. About the only thing she isn’t doing so far is endorsing Mitt Romney by name. And dredging up 2008 in order to embarrass her publicly strikes me, and I think would strike any serious adult, as an odd way of getting her to do that, let alone getting her supporters to listen even in the unlikely event it worked. I’ll give Romney this much: At least he’s been smart enough not to let that crap come out of his own mouth.

Fan club members will always come out to defend their idle idol, even if he’s a drugged out fat Elvis, or an RINO establishmentarian like limp Dick here.

Actually Governor Palin is the current biggest republican in America next to the party’s presidential nominee and the number one endorsement of either party in America, so I don’t know what you are smoking.

She is the leader of the right wing of the GOP, she is second only to the actual nominee in power and she represents the Reagan/Palin wing in the eternal war with the Romney/Rockefeller wing.

Go Cruz.

I think you mean who are veterans, and as far as Vietnam goes the vast majority of the vets of the time are enlistees anyway, not draftees, it wasn’t like WWII.

The Dick Cheney I first knew as a teenager following politics in the 1970’s was RINO President Gerald Ford’s Chief of Staff.

The idea that Dick Cheney is a “conservative” was one spread by the MSM that considers anyone not Marxist-Leninist a “conservative” including many liberal-moderate Republicans.

DICK CHENEY ALWAYS WAS AND IS A RINO PERIOD......

Wow I just read the long list of attacks on Dick Cheney. Enough to turn my stomach. Called him a turd? Sad performance by many of you who have no class.

Good Lord, what does that have to do with this situation? This man can’t say anything that disagrees with some people on here, and they dig up all kinds of junk about him and bad-mouth him!

I know that you sure have a strange way of talking about vets, you seem to want to tell everyone about your own personal DD214 rather than merely speak about veterans and military service in general.

Very odd, but you like I said, the vast majority of vets from the Vietnam era are volunteers, not draftees.

YOU are turning on a conservative. He expressed his opinion and good for him. Who cares.

IMO you seem to have no remorse when “YOU are turning on a conservative. We expresse our opinion and good for us.

But you seem to care.”
