Every time I read about some establishment politician criticizing an outsider like Sarah Palin, I take it as a personal insult. In the Beltway, God-fearing is out and evil is in. Woe unto them.
"I'd like to put these VP nomination rumors to rest once and for all. While serving as VP would be a great honor,
I'd not be able to accept the office as I am not a Natural Born Citizen.
My parents became US Citizens after my birth so by the eligibility requirements specified in Article. II. Section. 1. I'm not eligible.
The fact that the CommiecRAT Party lied about their usurper Obama's status doesn't change the Constitutional Natural Born Citizen requirement."
There is such a thing as too much experience. In other words, I’ve dealt with people who are the “We’ve been doing it THIS way for 20 years and it’s just fine” types. They don’t want change, can’t deal with doing things a better way. Cheney and Bush are insiders and power-brokers. Sarah has shown that she can penetrate the power structure and change it to suit the peoples’ needs, not the insiders.
The only thing that will change the party is for ALL of the people screeching at us “purist” conservatives, to turn their fire on the party which is actually responsible.
They might be amazed at how quickly the party will fall in line with the voters the way it should be.
If “exprience” got us where we are today, I think I will go with inexperience, integrity, intelligence, and a heart for the country.

Perhaps they would like to change the sales rep, but the product line will be pretty much the same.

Cheney wanting to homosexualize the military, fits right in with this attack on the right that he is making.
Bingo! They know they can keep it business as usual, thoroughly disrespect their base, because they feel they are dealing with sheep with nowhere else to go.
“establishment politician criticizing an outsider like Sarah Palin, I take it as a personal insult”
Exactly, it isn’t that they are attacking Sarah per se’. It’s more that i know that’s exactly how they feel about me. And they are doing it BEFORE the election. I’m very used to getting the Bush clan GOPe diss treatment after an election,, but BEFORE? Thats a deliberate insult.
“If exprience got us where we are today, I think I will go with inexperience, integrity, intelligence, and a heart for the country.”
Ding ding ding,,a winner.
The VP Cheney or the Halliburton version?
:) Yes, well, if there is CERTAINLY one Republican of yesteryear we do not want to emulate it is T.R., right? He was John McInsane’s favorite President, remember?
Sarah Palin has taken charge of the Republican Party and the GOP establishment wants it to stop. On Tuesday, Ted Cruz will win in Texas, making seven elections in a row where Sarah Palin endorsed a candidate to victory. All the stops are being pulled out to discredit her as unsuitable to be VP or President.
Every conservative she places in office replaces one of their reliable GOPe votes. The Cheney interview has more to do with reducing Palin’s credibility in the Texas runoff election than it does about her suitability for VP. A likely Dewhurst loss is a major defeat for the Rockefeller wing of the GOP and if that occurs expect a showdown in MO over Sarah Steelman. The battle will be to get control away from Sarah Palin and back in the hands of the milquetoast moderates. All of these Republicans will win their elections in November, They are in safe states, so the only losses felt will be by the GOPe.
“He should have kept his mouth shut.,.”
Well said.
Major gaffe on Cheney’s part.
PERIOD.
What you said is probably true...... great conservative, great Republican.
My posts are to point out she is not a candidate for anything
I really liker her, and am especially fond of Piper
