This whole story proves what freepers are up against. We are information sponges, I would bet that 90% of us remember when this happened originally. Though in the scheme of things, the event itself was no gigantic deal, most of us remember this. In this we are the 1%, we remember this event, yet the administration and the obamamedia knows that 99% of the population has never heard of this, so they feel confident that they can blantantly lie to the american people, and the people will see it as just another lie from those wascally teabaggers...if those teabaggers will lie about this, what won’t they lie about

Yes,but in fairness it does sound (from one of the comments upthread) that the original reports of it being sent back to England, by people on our side, were also misleading: Bush had a loaner while the original 1965 bust was in for repairs; when the original came back and Bush left office, the loaner was sent back. That should have been reported by our side in 2009.

Obama’s crime was to demote the, now restored, original from the Oval Office to the Residence.

I am impressed that Romney got it right—was careful to say, “restored to the Oval Office.” Someone in his staff must have paid attention to the details.

It would behoove us to do the same.

You are correct, too much of the public doesn’t pay attention, and too many of the ones who do, don’t care as long as they get their “gibmees”. There’s the group who don’t pay attention to the details of policy as long as TheWon sounds “inspirational”. They want to believe in the left’s “feel-good” policies so they can preen their cheap and shallow “moral superiority”.

Absolutely, this incident and so many more, as chronicled in an article in Human Events from July of 2011.

True dat...

.....and longer memories go back to Sir Winston Churchill's directives to his WWII war cabinet....

1. Destroy the means of production and distribution of petroleum products.

2. Destroy the means of production and distribution of electricity...starting with coal mining.

3.Destroy manufacturing capacity starting with ball bearing factories.

4. Terrorize the civilian population.

Seems to me Obambi has well in place items 1, 2 and 3 and is starting to work on item 4.
