True, although I don't think Cheney was saying that. What purpose did it serve, for Cheney to say what he did about Sarah Palin? I have admired Dick for all of his career, and his wife nearly as much, but they are now among the elite and they do not like these upstarts from across the tracks horning in.
Notice how close the Bush Clan has become with Bill Clinton, GHWB says he has a new son, and GWB claims Bill as his new brother. What the whole bunch have in common is a disdain for Sarah Palin and that includes both Clans 100%.
Eat you peas and shut up.</sarcasm>

Sarah certainly is more in line with doing G-D's work than our current Politburo Chairman.

NYC IS Manhattan! Long Island used to be red. Unfortunately, the moochers are moving in.
Nassau County now looks mostly like NYC (except for the North Shore). We have been trying to hold Suffolk Country from Nassau's fate, but these cockroaches just seem to take over!
Long Island used to be a suburbia paradise (we moved from the Bronx to Huntington in 1980).
The school in which I vote in was closed down twice because of gang related shootings. That is why I vote before work. I figure the thugs are just getting home from a night out of drinking, drugging and shooting.
I made the mistake ONCE of going to vote after work. NEVER again!

That is a crying shame, it pains me to think that our once Greatest city sounds like it could be transplanted from the Balkans in 1994.
That is what Ubama and the left wants though, a vast desperate population looking to them for guidance, to be molded nearer to their hearts desire.
As for Conservatives like your or Sarah, I will let FBI Agent Larry Grathwohl tell you about that.

It is silly to believe this woman is going to be running a presidential campaign at the same time that her husband ‘s reality show begins playing this fall.
Lots of vendors, PACs and authors have purchased boths and rented ballroms at the convention.
I am not putting her down for going there. But I am not reading a lot into it.
To: KC_Lion
Amen to that. Please Lord, hear our prayers.

What purpose did it serve, for Cheney to say what he did about Sarah Palin? To remind Romney that the call of history demands more than the politically expedient and spineless choice, one which he is all too likely to make.

I right clicked and used the ‘View Image Info’ and had to sort through them to see which ones to download.. actually, it was more of a pain to upload to tinypic, since I have to type in a captcha code for each upload ;)

I know Rudy is not very popular here in FR; however, he took what was once a craphole of NYC and changed it into a thriving one.
Yes, Rudy is liberal socially, however, he is a conservative bulldog in both fiscal and national security.
EVERYONE in NYC HATED him as mayor. The FDNY, NYPD, ALL unions, because he said fu, enough is enough.
He made that dirty toilet bright and shiny.....then bloomterd took over, appointed himself “king of NYC” and un-did everything Rudy accomplished.
It’s a damn shame.

...why don't you ask all of these newly minted combo Sarah Palin supporters/Dick Cheney-haters?
And make a fool of myself? Like you?
Another liberal shows their true colors. Can't face the truth about the rabid newborn Cheney haters, so you 'go Alinsky'.
No surprise.

I believe a good number of us who didn’t want Rudy as POTUS thought he was an excellent mayor.

If you dont know how rare it is for a politician to refuse the temptations of corruption when doing so means significant financial, social, political and even family riskwhile accepting it would bring significant personal gainthen you really know nothing whatsoever about politics.
By all means, enlighten us lesser mortals who 'know nothing'.
I await the testimony of the Superior Intellect.

The only thing that brings me comfort....because we ALL know, those who read their Bible and know what is going to happen, is the word of Jesus Christ.
“Remember, they hated me before they hated you”. I will gladly die (fighting not to, of course) with those words in my head.
We will win in the end, but there will be much suffering beforehand.
