The Japanese major television network JNN (and others) reported on its national news today as well as website a hefty diplomatic faux pas by the Obama White House and national security team in advance of White House's National Security Advisor Tom Donilon's trip here to Tokyo. The gaffe is referred to in this short video clip (at link) of JNN Network News today.

In the White House report and schedule, highlighted on the White House Home Page,
they refer to a planned meeting in Tokyo with Japanese Prime Minister "Yoshiko" (sic) Noda. "Yoshiko" is a common female Japanese name. This had the Japanese scratching their heads with one big massive "WTH?!" (See video)The actual given name of the Prime Minister of the world third largest economy, Japan, is a male name as the Prime Minister himself is very male. ("Yoshihiko").
This would be akin to a briefing book or press release prepared out of the Prime Minister's Agency in advance of a top official visit to the US, making reference to "Barbara Obama".
Amateurs.
Still.
Wonder if they will have Leaker-In-Chief Donilon engage in the stupid looking feigned Japanese bowing deep with hand extended for handshake-type greetings which is also a social faux pas in Japan and which Obama goofed up over. Or Obama's senior staff three years ago in Tokyo at the Prime Minister Hatoyama's office falling asleep or yawning due to "jet lag". You can't make this stuff up. Will adults ever be in charge again (when it comes to one of the most critical US bilateral foreign relations with a major friendly power)?

Not to worry. The head of the Regime knows where he and his country stand with respect to the world.
The President of the United States is a disgrace!

Probably not, but if it goes viral from FR, then the MSM will have no choice but to report it. Particularly if it is made a news item for the Monday conservative talk shows reaching millions of listeners. What idiots, those White House morons.

Even Bush would not make an error like this. Will the MSM talk about it NO! Obama is a Perfect President who need not work at the job. He’s a fool—out of his water. This will be made clear in the next few weeks as the debates start.
To: cynwoody
I refuse to admit or even allow that this piece of shyte is the "president" of my country.
The country formerly known as The United States Of America.
The shame and disgrace is unbearable.

Did you send it to Rush?
I don’t read Drudge any longer since his Blood Thursday on Newt - but he’s in Mitt’s corner so anything new on Barry and his admin, I’m sure he’d like to know about it.

I remember a year or so ago that Obama called his own wife “Michael” when he misread the teleprompter.
If he can’t get his own wife’s name correct, we can’t expect much more out of him in foreign countries.

HAHAHAHA!
The only thing funnier would be if Noda noritsukkomi-ed the mistake.
