AN ONLINE gay dating service CRASHED seconds after the first Olympic athletes touched down last week due to massive increase in demand.
The mobile phone app - Grindr - lets gay men zero in on potential partners nearby using GPRS in their phones.
Experts on the site believe the arrival of the Olympic teams on Monday sparked a flood of new customers - and crashed the service in East London.
One frustrated Londoner said: "It happened almost as soon as the teams got here.
Either loads of athletes were logging on to meet fellow Olympians or were looking to bag a local."The Grindr system obviously couldn't cope.

SICK!
Uh, maybe many athletes were contacting relatives to let family know they arrived in the UK without mishap?
Who knew handball was so popular?
Fag-storm, perhaps?
Any time you hear a story that sounds like a homosexual fantasy (to wit, all the athletes are gay), it’s probably a homosexual fantasy.
Poor little pervs had to find another freak to get off with the old fashioned way and start with the bathroom foot tapping.
Could be more than just one group using those particular commercial servers.
> The first thing the Homosexual Athletes did after arriving
> in London was to troll for anonymous sodomy.
Sodomy will be a competitive sport in the next Olympics no doubt.
How would they score it?...Never mind.
I agree - its publicity and more gay propoganda. Let’s do the math
Assume 10,000 athletes are there. Of those, 6000-7000 are male. If 2-3% are gay, we are talking about 200-250 male olympic athletes interested in this service (and that’s assuming they are all trolling at the same time - although with young homos I have seen, that IS possible)
Note: London is a city of 8,000,000 million.
Your numbers are good, except when you take into account the diving and gymnastics teams...much higher than 2-3%. :)
Olympic gold medalist Hope Solo has seen it all and shes not the only one.
In an interview with ESPN , the 30-year-old goalkeeper opens up about what really happens during athletes two-week stay in Olympic Village. Theres a lot of sex going on, says Solo, who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. With a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you want to build memories, whether its sexual, partying or on the field. Ive seen people having sex right out in the open. On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty.
Swimmer Ryan Lochte, 27, backs Solo up, as he believes 70 percent to 75 percent of Olympians hook up behind the scenes. Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
According to Solo, its almost too easy to meet people. Unlike at a bar, its not awkward to strike up a conversation because you have something in common, Solo explains. It starts with, What sport do you play? All of a sudden, youre fist-bumping.
But its not just sex that keeps the athletes up at night: they party hard, too. I probably shouldnt tell you this, but we met a bunch of celebrities. Vince Vaughn partied with us. Steve Byrne, the comedian. And at some point we decided to take the party back to the village, Solo recalls. We started talking to the security guards, showed off our gold medals, got their attention and snuck our group through without credentials which is absolutely unheard of.
I may have snuck a celebrity back to my room without anybody knowing, and snuck him back out, Solo adds. But thats my Olympic secret.
When we were done partying, we got out of our nice dresses, got back into our stadium coats and, at 7 a.m. with no sleep, went on the TODAY show drunk, Solo tells ESPN. Needless to say, we looked like hell.
18 year olds having sex? Say it isn’t so!
Oh, my. They think they are the sum of their butts. :(
To be fair, the bushes in Hyde Park “rustle” all night every night. Serious fag territory, London is. Just like DC.
The one gay athlete talking to another?
I didn’t just beat him, I rectum.
