London Olympics Logo Running Man
Posted on 07/27/2012 11:45:09 AM PDT by Talisker
So after seeing the thing for what, two years now? It occurred to me last night that the London Olympics logo looked like puzzle pieces. They even have 3-D shaddow to make them look like you can pick them up and move them around. So I did. And I found a running man!
But even weirder, it seem the running man is supposed to be upside-down, on his head. Because only then can you read the "London" pice properly. Oh, and as a check, besides all the exact angles of the piece sides that line up, the word "London" is at an angle from the line of it's own piece - but, if you make the running man, "London" is then perfectly horizontal and lines up with the horizontal lines of the olympic rings on the "head" (the top if he's upright, the bottom if he's upside down).
Remember - someone deliberately designed this into the olympic logo! Weird, huh? Why would this be so important to include? Is it just an olympic runner? Then why only read "London" when he's upside-down, as if he's fallen on his head? Who is this guy supposed to be?

It’s worse than the one we had in Georgia, that,, blue sperm thing. Hideous. Blaze, the eagle for the special olympics, now that was classy.

The Brits aren't good a logos.... consider the Office Of Government Commerce...

I just figured this out, too - apparently, in the UK, they use pictogram "Exit" signs, instead of the word itself (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exit_sign). Look at the match:
Is that creepy, or what?!

So I took it further, and did an overlay. I count 16 alignment match-points/lines (I included the heel, what the hell, it's so close). The olympic rings even give the guy a neck in the correct place. And look at the spacing alignments for the upside-down ascenders in the "london"! LOL!

To me it looks like an L (London), an O (Olympics), 12.
