Do you really believe that? The DNC — Democratic National Committee — actually had the power to select the Republican nominee? I have been following politics since working on the Goldwater campaign. Only Debbie Blabbermouth could make a statement that approaches such foolishness.
Perhaps you could have said that debate moderators helped frame the debate and the MSM wrote the stories that did damage to his opponents to help clear the way. At least that position would be something you could argue. But the statement above was so preposterous that no one can ever take you seriously.
