You are obsessed and there really is something wrong with you. I thought I was just kidding when I suggested it. Besides putting up truly ridiculous posts on every thread that mentions Romney, you are a time waster. I apologize to my fellow FReepers for even having a conversation with you.

For those FReepers without a mental problem, here is where I stand. I have never supported Romney either with words or money. Despite all his personal flaws, the smartest guy in the room and the person who would have been a great president is Newt. Unfortunately, we are stuck with a bad choice or an unthinkable one.

Being in Kalifornia, I have the luxury of voting for someone else and not affecting the electoral college if that is what I wish to do. If I were in a toss up state, I would certainly vote for Romney. That vote would be anti-Obama, not pro-Romney. If we manage to get rid of the Kenyan Marxist, we need to work diligently to keep Romney’s feet to the fire and make him do the right thing.

Diogenesis puts up post after post after post either believing he will affect someone’s vote or that people will think he is cute and clever. Neither is the case. He simply looks foolish. For some of you who have known me for 16 years here, the charge of me being a troll may well be one of the most ridiculous charges you have ever seen. The jury is certainly now in regarding the sanity of Diogenesis.

Thank you for spelling it so clearly and so rationally.

The only reason that I would offer for pulling the lever for Romney, even in the Peoples’ Republic of Kalifornia is that most people will look at the total number of votes [against Obama] versus to the total for him regardless of the Electoral College. In that regard your single vote counts.

If a couple hundred thousand conservative voters failed to vote for Bush in 2000 because they could not bear to do so and since they lived in deep democrat states “it did not make any difference” then, had they gone ahead and held their nose and pulled the lever for Bush (regardless of the electoral college implication) we might have been spared the “he lost the ‘popular vote’ but won only because of the Supreme Court” foolishness.

We need to keep thinking as conservatives, but being mindful of the leftist propaganda we need to act accordingly.

I vote in New Mexico, and I doubt that Romney has much of a chance for those electoral votes. But I will still register that choice (against Obama) whether Romney has a chance there or not because the total number of votes will still be a potential propaganda point for the leftists.

Keep up the good work. Many people are reading your posts. Many people respect you. Don’t get discouraged by your inability to get through to someone who has absolutely zero understanding of the battlefield situation we are in.

One thing I disagree with you on: your vote in California does matter. Popular vote totals do matter.
