I am not canceling my Amazon account.
It may not be popular around here, but I think Bezos can do what he wants to with his own money. The problem is that if every person who opposes same sex marriage (as I do) quits doing business with Amazon, it won’t hurt Bezos. He already has more money than he can ever spend. However, it will hurt his employees, many (if not most) of whom probably are opposed to same sex marriage. They could lose their jobs over something like this. And there are also numerous authors that could be negatively impacted.
As I seem to recall hearing from a certain pompous bloviator, “Boycotts only hurt the folks.”
Several years ago I started compiling a list of all the retail establishments that were “off limits” per FR dogma.
After several months the list of national companies literally shrunk to zero.
Watch them drop the tax like a hot Chick-fil-A nugget.
Where do he get his money? For you and others! Duh!
He already has more money than he can ever spend. They could lose their jobs over something like this.
Then he can put his money back into the company. After all, Bezos can do what he wants to with his own money
You are not consistent with your opinion. Fail! It's not the customer who provides any security for it's employment, it's the owners. You just decided you would support evil, nothing more.
Yours is a bogus argument. You are certainly entitled to do business with anybody you choose but your argument is the same one lefties and big government righties used to justify bailing out GM. The problem with their argument and yours is that if their is a market for a product or service somebody will provide that product or service and they will need employees to do it. Screw Amazon and every other company that wants to destroy the traditional family even further than what the Great Society accomplished. They have a right to do what they want with their money and so do I. Supporting homofascism ain’t in the cards.
