Take it easy.

I don’t like it either, but dipping the flag to the host country at the opening of the Olympics, is hardly a “slap in the face to ALL military past and present that died for that flag”.

Humm

I think I disagree

I know it is hard to grasp but dipping our Flag is something we don’t do because of pride. We have already lost too much pride as it is.

It’s just not right, you know?

"is hardly a slap in the face to ALL military past and present that died for that flag"

I say it would be a pretty good slap in the face of these two patriots.

"We recognize no Sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus!"

April 18, 1775, on the eve of the Revolutionary War after a British major ordered John Adams, John Hancock, and those with them to disperse in: "In the name of George the Sovereign King of England."
