This whole Chick-fil-A episode is the perfect example of how the left has taken control of the country.

In every poll I have seen, Americans oppose homosexual marriage, even California voted against it. Despite that, just about every powerful organization, the media, academia, etc. acts like they speak for everyone when they support it.

They attack the majority with impunity. They keep getting elected somehow. They have figured out how to game the system, sort of like the old corrupt trusts were able to control segments of the economy.

Exactly. Look at this article calling the CEO’s comments about supporting traditional marriage “Controversial”, oh yea in what universe is saying you believe in traditional marriage so damn controversial. These people who run Hollywood and the media are gay heavy, they are sick and just want justification to engage in behavior that is mentally ill. We are not just supposed to tolerate and not discriminate against them but we have to celebrate them and their so-called lifestyle.

even California voted against it.

Massachusetts didn't get to vote. Opponents gathered enough signatures to get it on the ballot, but the Legislature (with the support of the gov) used underhanded (and illegal) chicanery to keep it off the ballot. In spite of numerous Boston Globe polls claiming MA was all for it! (You know how much you can trust a Boston Globe poll, don't you?)

Exactly! As far as I know, every single time gay marriage has been on the ballot in a state, it has been voted DOWN by THE PEOPLE! I am not aware of a single state in which it has been approved by the people. So obviously it is not really something in which the majority of citizens approve.
