And there are those who think that Obama is not the best salesman for sidearms and personal protection in America.

James Holmes is certainly a rising star in that department. Unfortunately, after the first big surge in sales, he may fall off sharply, in just a short while...

Still, Holmes had access to some of his gear, that is not normally available to those outside formal law enforcement or even military supply channels.

Was there some kind of clandestine network that was getting all this stuff to him outside normal legal channels? You know, the “Fast & Furious” ruse kind of went bust as a ploy to convince people that personal sidearms are being trafficked illegally, maybe this was just another application of that same kind of false flag to convince the American public that even after all the previous attempts, sidearms are not yet sufficiently regulated.

(Article) At the first sign this guy pulled a weapon he'd [have] been dropped by the Secret Service. The results would have been quite different.

Friday one of the Aurora PD spokesmen was laying it down that Holmes was so heavily protected, that even a person with a pistol couldn't have stopped him. He was perhaps thinking of that infamous shootout in S. California years ago with the bank robbers who were all dressed out like tanks -- who died anyway.

But it's a debatable opinion. One to the head stops anyone -- and even with a Kevlar helmet on, he'd have been vulnerable like our troops were, in 2003, to stay-behind Mukhabarat and Special Republican Guards assassins who attacked sentries and guards with small pistols, shooting them in the back of the neck.

Sign for front and back doors:

Criminal, this door is locked to protect you, not me. If you break it down, you’ll WISH I called the cops.
