About the concept of God I learned from a Indian Chief in a greater sense here in the Northwest. It was standing before a circle of rocks on the ground, known as a Medicine Wheel that I learned a great teaching: Each rock represents a doorway. Each doorway leads to the Great Spirit, the Father of all life. Mormonism is a doorway.
It was Christ who said, “You are Petros and upon this rock petra I will build my Church.”(Mat 16:18-20).
The prayer circle is found in many religions throughout the ages. I will say that Christ is the best rock in that circle. My Indian Chief friend agreed as he held a smoldering sage stick.
If "Mormonism is a doorway" -- then you've just committed the error of calling Jesus Christ a liar or a false prophet:
Instead of what you were taught, The Christian gospel cites Jesus as saying: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by me." (Jesus Christ, the Head of the universal church, John 14:6)
In stark contrast, The Romneyfied Mormon substitute gospel -- sounds mighty familiar to the false gospel you were given by that spiritist-oriented chief:
"It [the Mormon church] is the way, the truth, and the Life." [Source: Marion G. Romney, the father's cousin of Mitt Romney was one of the Top three ranking Mormons when he said it: "This Church is the ensign on the mountain spoken of by the Old Testament prophets. IT is the way, the truth, and the life" (Conference Report, April, 1961, p. 119)]
Sorry, jonrick...blasphemers like Marion Romney aren't to be hugged to death for usurping Jesus Christ! (And why did that Indian chief indirectly label Jesus as a liar or false prophet...or somebody who didn't even know His identity as "THE Way" if there are multiple ways???)
