And Reagan signed one of the most liberal abortion bills in US history at the time it was signed.
Do you think Reagan regretted that decision later in his life? Is it possible that leaders learn from some of the mistakes they make in previous experiences?
Gee whiz, here we go again...
Read his autobiography, get back with us...
Reagan repeated this type of mistake (trusting progressives to keep their word) when he trusted ted kennedy on amnesty and tipp o'neill on spending cuts. He learned alright... to become a rock of Conservatism and he acted to defeat those that had proved themselves an enemy to Freedom and Liberty.
Romney said that a woman's right to choose was bred into him by his mother... from birth. The video is on You Tube... there are many such videos that show in great detail how mitt rommney will flip flop on any issue... whatever he needs to do or say to achieve his goals... and he has changed every single major issue stance he has ever held... and done so in the last 10 years. Reagan NEVER did that.
To believe that any politician can change themselves from one thing... to another that is a 180 degree polar opposite of what they have been all their lives... is itself the very definition of insanity.
