Men, women and children, Officials said they appeared to be illegal immigrants and U.S. Border Patrol agents were assisting on the scene. Homeland Security Investigations, or HSI, is providing assistance to DPS and the Goliad County Sheriffs Office.
One interesting tidbit about Goliad county. When they catch illegals and put them in jail, they don’t put them in cells. They put them in an enclosed outside rec area, and they stay there until ICE picks them up.
If it takes 3 days for ICE to pick them up, they stay outside for 3 days.
