Remember the stories about how The Second Mile functioned as the hub of a large child prostitution ring, where access to kids was granted in return for large donations to the University? I wonder the fact that wasn’t mentioned as part of the Freeh Report was a reason that Penn State was ok with the report, because indeed if that were true, it would really have blown things sky high.

Out of the mouth of babes. Why hasn't somebody pointed this out sooner??? Is this the open secret that everyone is beating around the bush to avoid???

$6 million insulates a lot of Trustees and donors from investigation, doesn't it???

And if the culprits can just keep piling vitriol onto Joe Paterno for all of this, things might just get back to normal sooner than later. Heck $13 million a year might just be the seed money for a new hub of Sanduskys.

I don't trust Louis Freeh.

When he was selected, I posted that on FR several times - running down his track record at the FBI.

I wouldn't be surprised if he truthfully pointed out the errors of those no longer in power (Schultz, Paterno, Curley, Spanier) while taking only a few cheap shots at the BOT and leaving the sacred fruit intact.
