I think it would be cool if all of the other university’s football players would be required to take the academic course load that the service academies require of their athletes.
That would be a good start. Then make four years of military service mandatory before signing a pro contract.
I know there are a lot of reasons that it will never happen, but in a perfect world ..... no graduation? ...no military service? .... no solid academic load? Sorry, you’re not up to NFL (NBA MLB etc) standards.
